The story behind our treats.
Saucy
As Purple Pumi came to be there was a puppy sweet and sassy and full of spunk. She was named Hot Sauce “Saucy”. What a fun, full of life puppy, One day I noticed she seemed a bit off. And as the days went one she only got worse. Unfortunately she had an illness that would not allow her to get better. Saucy crossed over the Rainbow Bridge at just 4 months of age.
While she was ill I cooked her healthy food and gave her healthy snacks. But when I would shop online or in stores I saw very few truly healthy treats.
We all want to feed treats to our dogs that they love but let us make sure they are
Our mission is to provide healthy yummy treats all dogs will absolutely love.
Saucy will forever be remembered and her gift to us was giving us this idea that came to life. She was an inspiration and part of our driving force to start developing our line.
In future we hope to have a healthy fresh food line as well.
We know Saucy is giving us that Pumi smile and wagging her tail approving. We love you Saucy aka Saucypants.
